Machining
Our 3-axis CNC router machines plywood, MDF, solid timber and hard plastics like acrylic. We have been providing cutting services to Melbourne's furniture makers, industrial designers, architects, builders and hobbyists for over five years - proudly contributing, in a small way, to countless pieces, projects and artworks.
Fabrication
The accuracy of our CNC machine allows us to fabricate bespoke furniture pieces, objects and structures. We can prep, design, finish and ship from our workshop in Brunswick, and our strong networks within the design industry mean we can outsource other processes if required.
Product Development
We have experience machining complicated custom furniture pieces as well as batch-manufacturing furniture and homeware products at scale. For this reason, we have all the necessary problem solving skills to design, prototype and prepare product ideas for manufacture.
CAD Services
A large part of what we do at Sean and Horn involves creating designs and objects in computer software that resolve practical problems in the real world. As such, we are fast and reliable with using computer aided design (CAD) and 3D modelling software. We can take care of this tedious process while you focus on the fun parts of your project.
Manufacturing
S&H manufacture a number of furniture and homeware products from our factory in Brunswick. We can receive raw materials, batch-manufacture products, manage inventory, and arrange third party logistics like courier services or palletised shipments.
Event / Activation
If you have a concept for an event, retail activation, market stall or shop fit-out we can help realise your vision with our CNC router and fabrication services. We have bumped-in stalls at Denfair, the Big Design Market, designed and installed retail activations for Happy Socks in Sydney and Melbourne, and fabricated event furniture for RMIT Design Hub.
