CNC Scenery

We cut panels that end up in front of the camera. Flats, curves, openings, lettering — the pieces a photographer or stylist needs standing on set.

Photo shoots are hard on scenery. It has to go up quickly, look pro in frame, and come down the same day. CNC offers options: repeatable parts, clean edges, nested sheets so you’re not paying for offcuts you don’t use.

We usually cut plywood or MDF for these jobs. Ply if you want a face that reads as timber. MDF if it’s getting painted or filmed as a solid colour. Thickness depends on whether the piece is self-supporting or sitting on a frame. Tell us how it will be stood up; that decides the sheet and the toolpath.

What to send
A drawing (DXF/DWG) if you have one. A sketch and overall sizes if you don’t. Note paint or leave-raw, and whether we are cutting only or you need it assembled.
